Bangalore Traffic ⛔ cancelled my event
Last week we planned to host a beginner level devops focused workshop (including git and github) at Global Academy Of Technology in collaboration with Apna MeetUp .
Two Speakers me and Nimit Savant were left by 11:30 Am and the workshop was scheduled at 1:30 PM.
Slowly Slowly time went by and now we were late. Why we were late?
We were stuck in Famous Bangalore Traffic 🚦
I immediately contacted Piyush Sahoo and Guruprasad Siddarth, and asked them to start the event.
I asked Piyush Sahoo to take the lead, start the workshop and make sure students complete prerequisite tasks like installing git, vs code, python.
As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by @Ramya Ma’am. Ignoring the formalities we directly jumped into the workshop.
Nimit Savant gave a brief session about Git, talked about history of git, showed how file tracking works and why it’s required. ✨
Following Up, I talked about the Open Source Community, How open source came into picture, how to contribute and raise PR. Last but not the least, i talked about legendary Linus Torvalds (founder of linux).
Even though we started late but in the end everything went smoothly.
Kudos to all team members Sachin Baluragi , Rakshith G 🎉🎊
Hope to meet you again 😁!
